Sable Mountain Lodge – Selous Game Reserve
The Sable Mountain Lodge gains its name from the footprints of the unusual Roosevelt Sable Antelopes which were found during the construction of the lodge in 1999. Built on two small hills that offer spectacular views from all of the rooms, there are six stone cottages in addition to five tented rooms that also include two honeymoon suites. The lodge has a two-storey hilltop villa which is ideal for families and small groups offering breathtaking vistas of the reserve. There is a bar, restaurant and swimming pool, and you can take a stroll down to the water-hole to loosen up in the afternoon at one of the hide-outs to see the various animals that come here to drink.
