Mount Meru Game Lodge – Arusha National Park
Nestled between the peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, the lodge was created to provide intimate accommodation to discerning lovers of both wildlife and nature, with a sanctuary founded to offer refuge to orphaned and injured animals, and to prepare them for their return to the wild. The lodge has a total of fifteen double or twin en-suite bedrooms and two suites, whilst the main building consists of a reception area, lounge, bar and terrace, shaded by enormous old Mango trees and which enjoys magnificent views over splendid mature gardens. In the grounds of the lodge there is an ‘outdoor dining room’ which consists of a garden, covered patio and a small open plan kitchen where meals are prepared in front of our guests. in the evenings, a camp fire allows you to dine under the African starlit sky whilst listening to all the exotic night sounds.
