DAY 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5: Arrival Day – Zanzibar Island
Arrive at Dar-es-Salaam International or Zanzibar International Airport from where you will be met by your personal guide, then transfer over to your exclusive lodge where you will have full use of the facilities in preparation for the following morning. Here you have the choice to stay at either the luxury Baraza Resort and Spa, or on the tiny paradise retreat of Mnemba Island Lodge in a private beach hideaway in absolute seclusion for your beach wedding or honeymoon stay. DAY 6, 7 & 8: Selous Game Reserve
After breakfast we transfer over to the mainland and enjoy a short tour of the Dar-Es-Salaam city and its famous harbour, and then we continue our journey to visit Selous Game Reserve. The spectacular Rufiji River – the lifeblood of the reserve – and its many tributaries flow gently through this serene wilderness landscape before fanning-out downstream to form an enormous delta creating a unique network of lake, lagoon and channel eco-systems. This pristine waterway sanctuary supports a wide range of universally diverse habitats; from open grasslands, acacia and miombo woodlands to deep swamplands and riverine forests that provide the visitor with the perfect setting for viewing a myriad of wildlife at home in their natural environment. Here you can enjoy both walking and river boat safaris. Overnight stays at the Rufiji River Camp and Sable Mountain Lodge where you will have exclusive use of the facilities.

DAY 9 & 10: Mikumi National Park
Mikumi is a national wildlife treasure that is set in a stunning location being surrounded by two distinct mountain ranges bordering the park on either side. The diverse landscape features a vast floodplain that is dominated by open grasslands which gradually merge with acacia and miombo woodlands that cover the lower valley hills. Several permanent watering holes provide its residents with a safe haven all throughout the year. After an early breakfast, we take a leisurely drive to see at close quarters such wildlife as Elephant, Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Crocodile, Buffalo, Warthog, Zebra, Wildebeest, Impala, Sable Antelope, Wild Dog, Lion and Baboon amongst many others. In addition, over four hundred species of birds have been recorded here, including the Lilac-Breasted Roller, Yellow-Throated Longclaw, Bateleur Eagle and an array of stunning waders. Overnight at Vuma Hills Tented Camp or Mikumi Wildlife Camp where you will have exclusive use of the facilities.

DAY 11: Udzungwa Mountains National Park
Surrounded by stunning natural grassland scenery, this biologically-diverse woodland habitat harbours many indigenous rare plant and animal species in its unique and spectacular mountain landscape environment complete with huge rock boulders, fast-flowing rivers and spectacular waterfalls. The mountain park is deemed somewhat unusual in that it exhibits resident populations of Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard, Lion and African Hunting Dog on its high plateau. And its rich forest canopy is home to many varieties of unique birdlife that live alongside several primates including two indigenous species: the Iringa Red Colobus Monkey and the Sanje-Crested Mangabey – the latter being discovered only as recently as 1979. We take a scenic drive into the mountains for the opportunity to visit the beautiful Sanje River waterfall and surrounding pristine forest and enjoy wildlife viewing on foot. DAY 12 & 13: Ruaha National Park
The second largest park in Tanzania is an incredible vast area of wilderness that derives its name from the mighty Ruaha River: a massive permanent watercourse which flows along its south-eastern margin providing a resplendent welcome supply to all its wildlife inhabitants. The park is world famous for the large concentration of animals that live alongside its many riverbanks that is nothing short of spectacular. Its unique eco-system habitat provides the perfect sanctuary haven to huge numbers of both Crocodile and Hippopotamus, and also to herds of Elephant, Buffalo, Grant´s Gazelle, Greater and Lesser Kudu, Roan and Sable Antelopes that are rare to the region. In the more drier season, they are joined by each of Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Jackal, Hyena, Wild Dog, Impala, Eland, Waterbuck, Warthog and Giraffe. Over three hundred and seventy bird species have been recorded such as the Sunbird, Kingfisher and Hornbill.
